It Started with Two Sweets and One Shop
Shree Odhavji Davda opened Khavda Mesuk Ghar in Bhuj in 1970. The menu was simple: Mesuk Pak and Karachi Halwa.
Growing Without Changing
As the family grew and demand increased, the product range expanded. Gulabpak came next. Then Adadiya — a winter special that people now pre-order months in advance. Dry fruit sweets, peda, khakhras, namkeen.
Each new product followed the same rule: pure ingredients, honest recipes, no shortcuts. The shop never chased trends or tried to be something it was not. A Kutchi sweet shop that makes Kutchi sweets well. That was the idea in 1970 and it remains the idea today.
Now, to Every Corner of India
Today, Khavda Mesuk Ghar ships across India. Families who moved from Kutch to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and beyond can now order the sweets they grew up with and get them delivered at home.
Corporate gifting, wedding favours, festival hampers. The reach has grown. The kitchen has not changed. Shree Odhavji Davda built this business on taste and honesty. That is what his family continues to stand for.
